Heys have gone and blown it
PRESTWICH Heys blew their chances of a fourth consecutive Manchester Premier League title when they went down to a disappointing 3-0 defeat against Pennington.
Heys look disinterested, and it proved to be a missed opportunity to make some ground on the leaders as both Gregorians and Wigan Robin Park both lost.
Looking at the table, the situation doesn't immediately appear to be lost but it was the manner of this latest defeat that suggests Heys haven't got the drive or desire to put a winning set of results together between now and the end of the season.
Martin Love's reaction volley from three yards, which was well saved by the Pennington goalkeeper mid-way through the first half, was the total sum of Heys attacking threat on Saturday.
