UNSWORTH cruised to a six-wicket win over hosts Milnrow to set up a Wood Cup semi-final clash against Monton and Weaste.
An inspired display of bowling from man-of-the-match Darren Love, pictured, who claimed 5-13 from his 10 overs, helped Unsworth restrict Milnrow to 138 all out.
Liam Richards picked up 3-30 on his return to the side, with Mo Munawar and Stewart Maxwell taking a wicket each.
The Unsworth bowling attack was backed up by some excellent fielding and catching, notably a superb diving catch on the boundary from Jon Wiggans.
In reply, Unsworth batted sensibly right the way through their innings, with contributions from Wayne Maden (43) and Jon Wiggans (21).
But it was left to Paul Entwistle (25) to see the visitors home with 10 overs to spare.
Unsworth travel to Monton and Weaste in the next round on Sunday, July 5.
