Tottenham have activated the option to extend goalkeeper Michel Vorm’s contract until 2019.
The Holland international joined from Swansea in 2014 and has made a total of 43 appearances for Spurs.
Vorm played 11 games in all competitions last term, with just one of those coming in the Premier League.
The 34-year-old has been understudy to captain Hugo Lloris since arriving from the Liberty Stadium and his game-time is likely to be limited again next season.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Since joining us from Swansea City in 2014, he has proved to be a reliable custodian whenever called upon.”
The former Utrecht stopper, who has won 15 Holland caps, was out of contract this summer before signing new terms with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
