RADCLIFFE Borough have appointed former Crewe Alexandra academy director Bill Prendergast as their new first team manager.
Prendergast, who has also worked at Manchester City and Macclesfield Town takes over the Stainton Park reins from Paul McGuire who left the club by mutual consent earlier today.
The Stainton Park outfit, who are currently fourth from bottom in Evo-Stik Division One North, have won just four games this season - the most recent a 5-3 victory over Droylsden on December 6.
Prendergast's first game in charge will be the home match with mid-table Kendal Town on Saturday.
