A MAN who made threats to kill a woman has been spared jail.
Bradley Jones, aged 24, of Ashbourne Grove, Whitefield, got into an argument with a woman he knew in the early hours on November 30, 2014, and kicked her in the stomach.
The victim went home, but Jones went to that property in Whitefield at 5.30am, where the victim's mother answered the door and Jones threatened to shoot her.
Jones was arrested and, after admitting assault and making threats, was given a 20-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, at a sentencing hearing at Bolton Crown Court last Thursday.
He was also ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work, be under curfew for four months, and to pay a £100 victim surcharge.
