A FIVE-WEEK taster course for people with a passion for singing will run at Prestwich Library from June 20 to July 18.

The course is purely for pleasure and has been designed to help people build their confidence and put together a repertoire of material.

Lynn Kirkley, programme manager, said: "This course offers something for anyone who enjoys singing in a friendly atmosphere. If you are a frustrated Pavarotti who only dares to sing in the bath, we can build your confidence."
