ONLY a third of children in the North West can recognise the Tower of London, new research has shown.
The research by car makers Chevrolet also found that 37 per cent of children in the region have never been taken to an art gallery while 10 per cent have never visited a museum with their parents.
A spokesman from VisitBritain said: βIt is important that the next generation learns to appreciate Britain's rich history of tradition, heritage and culture as well as its fantastic modern design.β
