A NEW road safety campaign aimed at young scooter and motorcycle riders has been launched in the North West.
The “Geared & Go” scheme is aimed at all 16 to 24-year-old and a seminar is expected to attract up to 5,000 motorcyclists from across the region this April.
Groups of young riders will be encouraged to take part in discussions about factors in road traffic collisions, crash investigation and the effects of drugs.
The “Geared & Go” young rider day will be held at the Dalmeny Hotel in Lytham St Annes and runs from 9.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday April 18.
