A PROJECT to give Jewish children from Whitefield somewhere to do their homework after school is set to get off the ground after organisers got a £3,000 grant.

The scheme will take place from December to July and the funding, which was agreed at Whitefield and Unsworth Local Area Partnership meeting on November 18, will pay for a youth worker, venue hire and two computers. The group will be advertised in schools once more details are confirmed.
