Big dipper flattened out

Comments (0)PRESTWICH’S answer to Blackpool’s big dipper has finally been removed months after a roadworks gaffe.
Bury Council employed a repair firm to improve the road at the junction of Bury Old Road and Scholes Lane, but when it had finished, motorists complain there was a dip in the road that was dangerous.
The council ordered the company to redo the work and it was finally done early this month at no extra cost to the council.
