A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital this afternoon after being hit by a car.
The 70-year-old woman was in collision with a silver Mitsubishi FTO in Rochdale Road, Bury, at 2.45pm on Sunday.
The car flipped over during the incident.
The woman suffered injuries to her head, neck and arm. They were not thought to be life-threatening.
A man was arrested on suspicious of dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
