WORSHIPPERS gathered to reveal their secrets of a successful Christmas at the fourth Espresso Church event.
More than 40 members of churches in Prestwich and Kersal were joined by special guest, the Bishop of Bolton, Rev Chris Edmondson, who led a special service on Monday.
Rev Edmondson and his wife Susan played a festive game of ‘Mr and Mrs’ and a question session was held when members shared their Christmas memories.
The event was hosted by Costa Coffee, in the Longfield Centre, and it was the fourth Espresso Church session to take place.
It was organised by Churches Together to provide an informal setting for people to talk about worship who would not attend a normal Sunday school or service.
Organiser Alan Saunders said: “It was a lot of fun and allowed people to say what they think about the subject.” The next Churches Together event will be a carol concert in the Longfield precinct, from 11am to 12pm on Saturday.
An Espresso Church session will be held at Costa Coffee on January 11.
