BABIES and toddlers skipped and jumped in a danceathon to raise money for charity Tommy’s.
Children aged six months to six years were sponsored to complete a Peppa Pig-themed dance lesson at Jungle Mayhem in Radcliffe.
Money raised will fund vital research into stillbirth, premature birth and miscarriages.
It was just one of many events across Bolton and Bury organised by the owner of a dance school franchise – four years after she suffered a stillbirth.
Michelle Thomas, who runs the Bury and Bolton branch of Babyballet at various locations across the two boroughs, said: “Obviously I have a very strong personal connection to what we’re trying to raise the money for.
“I really understand what Tommy’s is trying to do and it really means a lot to me. But also in general the work the charity does is amazing, and I can’t think of another charity that does work like this. It’s amazing what kind of research any money raised can do.”
