RAMSBOTTOM Festival organisers have thanked the thousands of people who helped make this year's event another resounding success.
More than 11,000 music fans packed into Ramsbottom Cricket Club last week to enjoy performances from acts including Fun Lovin' Criminals, Lake Komo, and Public Service Broadcasting.
The weekend was the busiest in the event's history and organisers are confident that the festival will continue to go from strength to strength.
A spokesman said: "We welcomed over 11, 000 people, around 70 acts and over 20 family arts activities to Ramsbottom Festival 2016 and with the sun shining all weekend we thought it was a huge success.
"We had some wonderful feedback over the weekend so we want to say thank you to everyone involved in making the festival happen."
Away from the music, a dance show celebrating Britain's passion for tea and all things vintage performed by Axial Dance, dazzled the crowds alongside circus acts from Nutkhut.
And for the youngsters, the likes of Bury Collective kept them entertained with an arts and craft tent while Communitree held storytelling and forest craft workshops.
Next year's festival will take place on from September 15-17, 2017 and early bird tickets will be going on sale soon.
