AN ONLINE survey has been launched to gather views on how to further improve evening attractions in Bury town centre.
Questions on the survey cover topics such as how often people visit the town centre, how safe they feel and which other towns they visit for a night out.
Cllr Sandra Walmsley, cabinet member for strategic housing and support services, said: “Bury town centre has been transformed in recent years. The success of retail and leisure developments is supported by a growing evening and night-time sector, which means that Bury now appeals to a wide audience.
“We are keen to find out what people think about Bury town centre and we will use this information to help with the ongoing development of the town.”
The findings from this latest survey will be compared with the results from a similar poll carried out in 2014, and included in this year’s Purple Flag renewal application.
The survey can be found at bury.gov.uk/burytowncentre-survey and the deadline for comments is July 25.
