A COLLEGE student is celebrating after collecting more than £1,300 for Bury Hospice with a charity music night.
Lilli Hilton raised £1,343 with help from her fellow students during an open mic night at Holy Cross College.
The 17-year-old organised the event in memory of her grandfather, who died at the hospice last year.
She said: "It was a fantastic night and all of the acts were brilliant. One of the teachers said she had worked at the college for years and this was the best event she had seen, which made me so happy."
