ELBOW frontman Guy Garvey was among the guests at 2015 Ivor Novello awards.
The Ivors, which are run by BASCA and now in their 60th year, celebrate British and Irish songwriting and composing.
They are being held today at at Grosvenor House in London.
BASCA chairman Simon Darlow said: "These awards were created to raise the profile of our best creative talent and today’s nominations, which include a host of fresh new writers, demonstrate that The Ivors continue to achieve this."
