EMERGENCY crews have been called to a car crash in Holcombe Brook.
Firefighters and paramedics have been scrambled to the junction of Longsight Road and Bolton Road West near the Hare and Hounds pub after two cars smashed into each other.
The air ambulance was also sent to the scene.
Firefighters confirmed that the driver of a navy Peugeot car had to be cut free from her vehicle as they removed her door.
The woman was able to walk away from the scene and was taken into the back of a North West Air Ambulance.
A spokesman for Bury Fire Station confirmed that both drivers escaped without life-threatening injuries.
