TWO sisters are sporting new streamlined haircuts after facing the chop for charity.
Ella and Izzy Ralph had their long blonde locks cut to a new chin-length bob style, and their hair has now been packaged up to be passed to the Little Princess Trust.
It will then be used it to make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
The pair's online fundraising total has risen to more than £800 since their venture was featured in last week's Bury Times, and donations continue to pour in.
Proud father Alastair, of Burgundy Drive, Tottington, said: "It went really well. They were fine about it and they look really good with their new haircuts."
Their desire to help the charity came after five-year-old Ella, a pupil at Old Hall Primary School in Bury, saw a child while out shopping in Bury who had lost their hair, and asked her mother Elizabeth if there was anything she could do to help.
Together with 11-year-old sister Izzy, a pupil at Tottington High School, they had their hair cut at Alastair's brother-in-law's salon, Kane Anthony Hair Studio in Stubbins.
