A MAN was rescued from his car when it overturned after a crash in Bury town centre.
Police were called to Spring Street, near Asda, at 8.10pm last night after a dark blue Fiat Punto and a silver Volkswagen crashed.
The Punto rolled onto its side and was partially lodged on the pavement but neither its male driver, nor the female driver of the Volkswagen, were injured.
Paramedics attended to take the male driver to hospital as a precautionary measure but he declined treatment at the scene.
