TWO enterprising youngsters raised £40 for Bury Hospice by flogging loom band jewellery to friends, family and neighbours.
Nine-year-olds Sophie Willett and Emma Wilde, who both attend Greenhill Primary School in Mile Lane, Bury, made the joint decision to donate their proceeds to Bury Hospice.
Sophie’s mum Nic Willett, of Bolton Road, Bury, said: “The girls started off selling to family and friends before knocking on neighbours on our estate with collection boxes.”
Sophie and Emma delivered the money in person to the hospice on Rochdale Old Road on Sunday (October 5).
