Man who smeared semen on girls in court

A WHITEFIELD man accused of smearing semen on schoolgirls’ clothes has appeared in court.
Dale Cranshaw, of Calder Crescent, went before Bury Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning charged with a series of offences that date back four years.
Cranshaw faces six charges of sexual assault, which the court was told involved intentionally touching a girl in a sexual way when she did not consent.
The charges relate to incidents on October 13, 2009, December 7, 2009, December 17, 2009, January 25, 2010, January 11, 2013 and February 5, 2013.
No application for bail was made and Cranshaw was remanded in custody until Tuesday, April 2, when he will appear before Bolton Crown Court.
