Police are appealing for information after a collision in Salford in which an elderly woman driver broke her hip.
A red Renault Clio and a silver Mercedes collided at the junction of Regent Road and Ordsall Lane at about 10.40pm on Tuesday. The driver of the Clio, a 75-year-old woman, was taken to hospital having suffered a broken hip. She remains in hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The driver of the Mercedes was not injured.
