THE Prestwich Ladies Bowling League is holding a silver jubilee party at Whitefield Park on Saturday.
The ladies will be holding a raffle, with prizes up for grabs including a dressing gown worn by Samantha Seager as Jodie Morton in Coronation Street.
The event will be held at Whitefield Park, Stanley Road, from 10.30am until 6pm.
Maureen Yardley, one of the organisers, said: “We’re going to try to attract younger bowlers to our clubs by showing people what a fun time we have.”
