The weather service says there is a 'small chance' that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly and there is a chance of delays and cancellations to train and bus services where flooding or lightning strikes occur.
It also says that spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and road closures, with a 'slight chance' of power cuts occurring and other services to homes and businesses being lost.
This comes after a yellow warning was also issued yesterday, Sunday, June 11, for thunderstorms in Bury.
