Bury-born Gemma Atkinson has joked about why she’s not married her fiancé Gorka Marquez yet.
Gemma Atkinson was presenting her drivetime show on Hits Radio yesterday alongside presenter Mike Toolan, where they were discussing that it’s the busiest time of the year for divorce lawyers.

They discussed that the tension of Christmas and the coming together of families and relatives can cause issues between couples.
The 38-year-old jested that her co-presenter Mike was also part of this statistic back in 2009.
Gemma said: “Just don’t get married, if I don’t marry him, he can’t divorce me!
“He can leave me but he’s not taking anything because there’s nothing legal.
“Off you pop sunshine, onto the next one!”
Mike said: “Gorka’s not listening is he!”

Gemma met Gorka when she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 and reached the final with her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec.
The couple were engaged on Valentine's Day 2021 and have a daughter Mia who was born in 2019.
