REVELLERS will descend on Prestwich Clough on Sunday for an action-packed day of activities and the forecast is for bright sunshine - and lots of fun.
Celebrations will take place between noon and 5pm in St Mary's Flower Park and in Church Lane.
The free events programme will feature concerts from The Oldham Band (Lees), the Radcliffe Brass Band, and the Red Rose Brass Band.
There will be face painters, arts and crafts, swing boats and bouncy castles and a chance to meet the bats of the South Lancashire Bat Group and the owls from the World Owl Trust. Country crafts will be demonstrated and there will be displays from the park rangers, the Forestry Commission and Red Rose Forest. Prestwich Local Area Partnership co-ordinator Carran O'Grady said: "One of the things we will be doing is launching a campaign to stop quad bikers using the Clough illegally."
