A MAN threatened another man with a broken bottle after a fight broke out at Whitefield Metrolink station.
Police were called to reports of the fight at the station, in Stanley Road, at 5.55pm on Thursday.
One man had smashed a bottle and was making threats, while shocked commuters watched on.
However, the man left the station prior to the arrival of police.
A GMP spokesman said: “At 5.55pm yesterday we were called to a reports of a fight at Whitefield Metrolink station on Stanley Road.
“One man had a smashed bottle and was making threats.
“Shortly after the man with the bottle left the station.
“By the time police arrived he had gone.”
