THEATRE: Rock of Ages show helps raise funds for Annabelle's Challenge
A BURY charity supported a local theatre group by attending all five of their shows.
Annabelle’s Challenge, a charity that supports those with Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, showed support for the Prestwich PADOS Youth and Junior Theatre Group at their ‘Rock of Ages’ shows.
Annabelle herself attended all the performances at The Met and appeared on stage at the interval.
Alongside Andrew Platt, they reached out to the audience each night to talk about the work of the charity and to explain details about the syndrome.
The show’s audiences helped to raise £582 for Annabelle’s Challenge.
The charity will be supporting PADOS again on Wednesday, April 25 at the showing of Big – The Musical at The Met.
