A DRUGS raid was carried out at a house in Bury this week.
Police officers executed a drugs warrant on Tuesday afternoon at an address in Devon Street, after receiving a tip-off from members of the public.
They recovered cannabis with a street value of £16,500, which has now been sent for destruction.
A man was discovered hiding at the address.
He was arrested and is assisting officers with their investigation.
A tweet from GMP Bury North's Twitter account shared a number of pictures from the raid.
It read: "Officers from Moorside and Redvales conducted a drugs warrant this afternoon at an address on Devon Street Bury.
"Cannabis with a street value of £16,500 was recovered and has been sent for destruction.
"A male arrested at the address is assisting officer with their investigation."
