BURY actor Antony Cotton has been sent home from Dancing on Ice in a shock double elimination.
The Corrie star and partner Brandee Malto were axed from the show alongside fellow actor Donna Air and her partner Mark Hanretty after a dramatic unprecedented triple skate off.
All four members of the Ice Panel chose to save Scottish rugby union player Max Evans and his partner Ale Izquierdo.
Antony said: "I've had an absolute blast and I can go forward and backwards so I'm thrilled."
He added that he would be "friends for life" with Brandee.
The elimination follows news this week that Antony had been tipped as the bookies favourite to be sent home next.
Bookmakers gave the actor just 50/1 chances of claiming the Dancing on Ice 2018 crown.
Donna Air and Antony's Corrie co-star Brooke Vincent were tipped as the second least likely with 25/1 odds.
Singer and former X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden remains the odds on favourite to win the series at 1/3.
The grand final of the tenth series of Dancing on Ice is now just three weeks away.
