A GARDEN shed has been destroyed by a fire which engulfed the building.
The incident occurred at around 10.44am on January 30, at 6 Spring Avenue, in Whitefield.
Fire crews attended the blaze, preventing the flames from spreading to an adjoining garage in the property next door, and a caravan in the garden at the rear.
No one was in the structure, which was around five metres by 10 metres, constructed from wood and metal cladding, when it caught fire.
It is believed the fire was sparked by electrical fault caused by equipment or wires in the building.
A Fire Service spokesperson said that the blaze "had been going well" and left the workshop "100 per cent damaged by fire".
