BURY College has increased its security after it received another threat.
Police confirmed the threat was made at around 11.30am this morning.
Security teams at the college in Market Street are on heightened alert, but lessons are continuing as normal and no lockdown procedure is taking place.
The nature of the threat has not been confirmed.
Tameside College has been on lockdown and is currently being evacuated after a gun threat was made on Twitter this morning.
Last month, Bury College was evacuated after a bomb threat on Twitter.
A college spokesman said: "We liased with police to assess the situation and determine the correct response.
"As a result, we have increased our level of security.
"We have well-rehearsed safety procedures in place.
"The safety of all our students and staff is a priority."
