BURY children will be celebrating all things literary on Thursday.
World Book Day 2017 will see schools and libraries up and down the country organise special events to promote reading.
Schools often encourage pupils to dress up as their favourite literary characters and join in the celebration of authors, illustrators and story-telling.
So if you’ve got a great Gruffalo or perfect Harry Potter outfit you’d like to share with our readers, then send us your pictures and we’ll feature a selection in the paper and online.

World Book Day 2017 - send us your photos
It's World Book Day and children across Bury are dressing up as their favourite literary characters. If your child is taking part, send us a picture with name, age, school, which character they have chosen and why.
