M60 anticlockwise J18 for Heaton Park PIC: motorwaycameras.co.uk
THERE are severe delays on the motorway this morning after a crash involving a car and a lorry.
It happened on the M60 anticlockwise, between junction 13 at Worsley and junction 12 at the Eccles Interchange at about 7am on Thursday.
There is congestion on the M61 to junction 4 at Farnworth, on the M62 to junction 20 at Rochdale and on the A580 East Lancashire Road.
Two lanes were closed on the main carriageway until 7.40am but have now reopened.
There is also a separate broken down vehicle in the queue after junction 17 for Prestwich.
It is not thought anyone has been seriously injured in the collision.
Drivers are being warned of delays up to an hour.
