THE trial of a Bury man accused of murdering his ex-wife has been adjourned until Monday.
Following problems with sewage overflow in the cells at Liverpool Crown Court today, it was not possible to house any prisoners, and cases involving defendants remanded in custody had to be put off.
These include Ernest Davenport who denies murdering 64-year-old Susan Davenport at their former matrimonial home in Rectory Lane.
