A MAKE-up artist from a Whitefield salon made her mark for charity.
Charlotte Metcalfe, who works at Hair Lounge in Bury New Road, gave up her time to help out Cherished Gowns for Angel Babies UK, a cause which makes tiny gowns for stillborn babies.
The 28-year-old took part in a special photoshoot featuring 12 brides and 31 donated bridal gowns, which was staged at the Britannia Daresbury Park Hotel in Warrington.
The event was organised by Merseyside-based charity, Baby Loss Foundation, in partnership with Hazel Hughes photography, Cheshire. All the donated wedding dresses are being used to create the tiny gowns for stillborn babies.
Charlotte said: "I had the privilege to be a part of an amazing charity. So many brides donated their wedding dresses to The Baby Loss Foundation in order that the beautiful babies that leave this world too soon have something beautiful to wear."
"I was lucky enough to do their make-up for one last photo in their wedding dress to create awareness of such a beautiful charity”.
