Two drivers escaped unhurt following a crash in the centre of Brighton.
The accident happened in Lewes Road near the junction with Hartington Road when a red taxi was involved in a collision with a burgundy Audi, which ended up hitting a lamppost. Both drivers were checked at the scene by paramedics but were unhurt.
Passer-by Jack Fleming, 19, passed the scene shortly after the accident. He said: “The front of the taxi was really badly damaged but everyone seemed to be okay.”
