BURY bands are being invited to apply to play at their local O’Neill’s — and they could find themselves in with a chance of winning £2,000 of equipment.
Bands interested in playing at O’Neill’s — whether at their local pub or other pubs across the UK — should register at oneills.co.uk/band registration.
Once registered, the information provided forms a band profile that enables O’Neill’s managers to review, rate and approve that band.
Those successful then go on to the O’Neill’s national music roster, the O’Neill’s Playlist.
The Playlist not only gives bands a chance to promote themselves to all 62 O'Neill’s managers but also, if interested, the chance to be put forward for a series of regional showcases with a final prize of £2,000 of music equipment courtesy of leading UK distributors Rosetti.
David Munday, manager of O’Neill’s in Bury, said: “We’re looking for a broad range of musicians, from cover bands to one-man bands to guitarists and fiddle players, and I know there are some fantastic acts in and around Bury so I urge local bands to sign up and be part of this great initiative.”
