WANNABE singers can try their hand at being part of a rock choir at a special event at Bury Parish Church Hall on Monday.
There will be no auditions and no experience reading music is necessary.
The taster event is part of nationwide celebrations for the release of the choir’s debut album, Rock Choir Vol. 1.
The album features popular songs from across the decades, including Can’t Hurry Love, Valerie, Walking on Broken Glass, Dancing in the Street, Say a Little Prayer and Something Inside So Strong.
More than 1,000 Rock Choir members appear on the album.
Rock Choir is also raising money for its linked charity Refuge, the charity for women and children against domestic violence. Maxine Cherrie, Rock Choir leader said: “I’m really excited to be starting my journey with Rock Choir and opening new choirs in Lancashire. I can’t wait to share Rock Choir with as many people as possible.”
