Maggie Bell, Blues Band’s Dave Kelly and the British Blues Quartet will be appearing at The Met for a night of soul and blues classics on Thursday, April 15.
Scottish soul diva Maggie Bell joins forces with Blues Band guitar wizard Dave Kelly and the mighty British Blues Quartet (Zoot Money, Colin Allen, Colin Hodgkinson and Miller Anderson) for an evening of soul and blues classics - with some thumping rock 'n' roll thrown in.
Maggie Bell formed Stone The Crows in the sixties, and has a solo career on both sides of the Atlantic.
She is known, amongst other things, for her raspy Taggart theme tune.
Three years ago she joined forces with Dave Kelly founder member of the Blues Band, who learned his trade backing and recording with Howling Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Son House and Junior Wells to name a few.
Now backed by the British Blues Quartet, this is an evening of classic blues and soul entertainment.
Tickets cost £14/£10 concessions and the show starts at 8pm.
