Rock, pop, theatre and classical concerts are all part of the Autumn/Winter season at Preston Guild Hall.

Electro pop duo Erasure hit the city on September 12 and will be playing a selection of hits from their back catalogue and songs from the duo's new album Light At The End Of The Tunnel.

Local brass favourites The Leyland Band will be joined by special guests Tenorissimo for a gig on September 29 and will perform classics including Nessun Dorma, Granada and The Pearl Fishers Duet.

Hotly tipped young comedian Russell Howard plays a sure-to-be sold out gig in the Guild Hall's Foyer Bar on October 4.

Scotland's favourite twins The Proclaimers may not be travelling 500 Miles but they will be fetching their hits to the Guild Hall on October 31.

Soul diva Beverley Knight will be appearing on November 2 while other pop and rock highlights include 10CC on November 12, Ladysmith Black Mambazo on November 17 and 1960s favourites The Hollies on November 23.

The end of the year always marks the pantomime season and the Chuckle Brothers will be bringing their take on Aladdin on November 27 and 28 while at the Charter Theatre, the all-star cast of Jack and the Beanstalk will be taking to the stage from December 8.

Celebrity Love Island star Paul Danan will be joined by Coronation Street actress Casey-Lee Jolleys, Granada TV funnyman Paul Crone and Rock FM's Gemma Dee and Adam Catterall for panto which promises to be a cracker.

Tickets for all shows are available at the Guild Hall box office in Lancaster Road, by calling 0845 344 2012 or logging onto www.prestonguildhall.com.
